Did you know that a lot of gold can be farmed in WoW after level 35 and the desired Mount can be bought at level 40? We have gathered some of the best spots for farming. One good spot for example are the Enraged Rock Elementals in the Badlands. They are not difficult and drop some stones for the blacksmiths and elemental earth which is used by many professions and can be sold in the AH. Also there is the possibility of getting Green and Blue items. In total one can farm between 10 to 15 pieces of gold per hour.

Another good place to farm, if the Badlands are too crowded, are the Arathi Highlands. In the east of the Highlands two farms can be found. One with Horde factions and the other with Alliance factions. The melee mobs are fairly easy to fight and besides Silk cloth and silver also offer green items. Altogether you can make about 5 to 10 pieces of gold per hour.

If you are nearing level 40 you can also go to the west of the Arathi Highlands all around the Circle of West Binding and farm the Burning Exiles. These drop the rare Elemental fire, which is worth a lot of gold in the AH. But you should be at least a level 38 or 39 to do well, especially as a melee fighter. With these tips nothing should stand in the way of your mount at level 40.
